This cache is part of a series intended to highlight just a few Eagle Scout projects completed in our area by the scouts in our local troops. In particular, this cache recognizes the project of Daniel from Mashpee Troop 36. Daniel's project included repairing the steps on the Long River Trail. Another part of Daniel's project was done on the nearby John Johansen trail.
The best place to park for this cache is the lot off Quinaquisset Ave however to make the turn onto this road from Rt28, you'll need to be heading toward Hyannis. If you're coming from the other direction, you'll need to go around the rotary.
The cache is just a short hike from the parking lot but I would encourage you to hike other parts of the trails at the location.
