Devon&Somerset 'Fingerposts' - #43 Chaffcombe
First you will need to go to the Posted Coords that will take you to a Fingerpost. You will need to collect some info from the Fingerpost and do some simple maths which will give you the correct coords to find the cache.
# The number of different names on the pointers of the Fingerpost =A
# The number of letters in the name ending with the letter E on the Fingerpost, divided by 2 =B
# The number of letters in the name ending with the letter D on the Fingerpost, plus 2 =C
# On top of the Fingerpost there is a blue sign, the number of words on the sign, minus 2 =D
# Also, the number of letters in the top word on the blue sign, minus 1 =E
By now you should have all the info that you need!
Checksum - A+B+C+D+E =26
The cache can be found at: N 50 (C-A)(B-A).(C-B)(E-D+A)(D+D+A) W 002 (E-A-A)(D+A).(B+D)(A+A)(D)
