Kaffee Kache - a cache to celebrate when we have shared a chat over coffee with fellow geocachers.

Location:
Salisbury is a southern suburb in the City of Brisbane. It was named after the residence of William Coote, an early Brisbane engineer, architect, journalist and political figure, who lived in the area. It is presumed to refer to Salisbury in England.
The Beenleigh railway line opened in 1885 which included the Salisbury railway station to service the area, but real residential development commenced in 1912 and again in 1918. After the establishment of the Salisbury State School in May 1920, further estates were opened in 1921 and 1924.
The area remained predominantly rural until World War II. Because of its comparative remoteness, a series of munition factories were built in the area. In November 1941, the Rocklea Munitions Works was opened to make small arms ammunition and artillery shells for the Australian Army. The area along Evans Road (and Industries Road) is now mostly factories.
Since then, Salisbury has become a popular residential area due to its proximity to the CBD, the railway, several primary and secondary schools, and the nearby Griffith University and QEII Jubilee Hospital.
There are at least fourteen Heritage Listed Sites in Salisbury.

This Kaffee Kache is an interactive mystery geocache. It requires a smartphone. It is a unique way of stringing together virtual and physical waypoints. Thus, it is part virtual cache, part multicache, part puzzle cache, and part adventure lab. What more could one want?
