ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΆ
Ο Πάμισος είναι το μεγαλύτερο[ ποτάμι του Νομού Μεσσηνίας με μήκος 44 χλμ και με υδρολογική λεκάνη 568 τ.χλμ. Πηγάζει από τα βουνά της Άνω Μεσσηνίας (το όρος Λύκαιο) και από τις καρστικές πηγές Αγίου Φλώρου και Πηδήματος, που εκφορτίζουν το βόρειο Ταΰγετο. Διατρέχει τη Μεσσηνία από Βορρά προς Νότο και εκβάλει στον Μεσσηνιακό Κόλπο ανάμεσα στα χωριά Άρις, Πλατύ και Μεσσήνη. Η πόλης της Καλαμάτας απέχει 9 χιλιόμετρα από την κοίτη του ποταμού.
Η κρύπτη είναι τοποθετημένη κάτω απο κάτι πέτρες στον κυματοθραύστη στην εκβολή του ποταμού.

Pamisos is the largest river of the Prefecture of Messinia with a length of 44 km and a hydrological basin of 568 sq. km. It springs from the mountains of Upper Messinia (Mount Lykaio) and from the karst springs of Agios Floros and Pidima, which discharge the northern Taygetos. It runs through Messinia from North to South and empties into the Messinian Gulf between the villages of Aris, Plati and Messini. The city of Kalamata is 9 kilometers from the riverbed.
The cache is located under some rocks on the breakwater at the mouth of the river.
