This is meant to a be a simple puzzle cache that I'm essentially using as an excuse to make you all learn about my favorite tree, the Douglas Fir, or as it's family call him, Mr. Pseudotsuga Menziesii. This majestic creature is my favorite among the trees as it has surrounded me my while life growing up in the PNW. Despite the fact I see fewer of them here in Bellingham than I did in Portland, that just makes a sighting even more special to me.
