NORA's Fall 2024 Youth Geocaching Class teaches kids about geocaching. We spend time learning about geocaching then we spend time finding before we create and hide caches. The whole class is 4 weeks in 4 different parks. Week 4 brought us to East End Park. We had one to find in the park and it's such a fun park so we decided to hide another one for young cachers to hide. The original cache was muggled but the new one is an old mayo jar wrapped in duct tape and hidden in a traditional way. The cache has treasures for young ones and our hope is that this cache continues to be filled with treasure so if you ever reach it and find no treasures inside, please notify me and I will rectify that immediately!
I didn't have a pen small enough to fit in container so if you go looking for this one, bring your own writing utensil to sign the log.
Overall, we had a great class and launched 4 new young cachers out into the wild to find/create/hide with friends and family.
