This cache is placed on the Woods Trail in Sierra Azul, a mile or so from parking and a fairly easy hike -- if this is as far as you're going. Of course, if you're proceeding to death march up and over El Sombroso, never mind the "easy hike" part. This big rock is covered with what my plant app identified as "twisted moss", also known as star moss, great hairy screw-moss, or sand-hill screw-moss. The "big chonker" part should be obvious when you see this rock.
You're looking for a small container hidden within a step of the trail. This hide depends on the camo being put back in place, so thank you in advance for keeping it well hidden!
Sierra Azul OSP is open half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after sunset. Happy hunting and enjoy your hike!
