In the small town of Playa Quemada you will find the Playa de la Arena beach. The black sand beach is in a sheltered bay surrounded by rocks. Here you are well protected from the wind. At low tide the beach is very easy to reach via a small path below the promenade. However, this path is no longer passable at high tide, so you have to climb over the approximately 50 meter high rocks. If you are looking for a quiet and secluded beach, this is the place for you.
As a geocacher you are certainly on your way to Playa la Casa with the multi cache "Fata Morgana" - which is dedicated to a gem that is absolutely worth seeing. Thus, you'll have a short break along the way to find something and enjoy the view of the small bay from above.
