Geocache Description:

CACHE IS NOT AT POSTED COORDINATES.  This is a simple 3-stage multi.

Hey, what could be more Dutch than a name like Van Raalte? Well, maybe this:

(FROM WIKIPEDIA)
In filmmaking and photography, the Dutch angle, also known as Dutch tiltcanted angle, or oblique angle, is a type of camera shot that involves setting the camera at an angle so that the shot is composed with vertical lines at an angle to the side of the frame, or so that the horizon line of the shot is not parallel with the bottom of the frame. This produces a viewpoint akin to tilting one's head to the side. In cinematography, the Dutch angle is one of many cinematic techniques often used to portray psychological uneasiness or tension in the subject being filmed.

Dutch angles are often static shots, but in a dynamic (moving) Dutch angle shot, the camera can pivot, pan, or track along the established diagonal axis for the shot.

In Hollywood's classic age, one filmmaker who used Dutch angles often was Alfred Hitchcock, whose early career included time at UFA studios in Germany; examples include Suspicion (1941), Notorious (1946), Strangers on a Train (1951) and The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956).

Dutch angles were used extensively in the 1960s Batman TV series and its 1966 film spin-off; each villain had his or her own angle, as they were "crooked."

This cache may be placed at an angle, for a Dutch Tilt effect. Does that produce any uneasiness or tension within you? If you see a rainbow, do you see the color Violet?

To find this, proceed to the posted coordinates and take a picture of the nearby sign, using the Dutch Tilt effect. Save that for yourself, do NOT post in your log.

Afterwards, gather the following information to get the coordinates for the 2nd stage:

        N 42° 46.ABC' W 086° 03.XYZ'

A = # of letters in the 1st line
B = # of letters in the 3rd line, one's digit
C = # of letters in the 3rd line, ten's digit
X = # of letters in the 2nd line x 2
Y = # of letters in the 3rd line - 1
Z = # of letters in the 5th line - 3

Checksum N:10  W:16

When you get to the sign at Stage 2, take a picture of that one using a Dutch Tilt, but in the opposite direction from what you did before. Does that balance it out and make you feel normal again? Do you see anything Violet?

Afterwards, gather the following information to get the coordinates for the 3rd and final stage:

        N 42° 46.ABC' W 086° 03.XYZ'

A = # of letters in the 1st word of the last line
B = 1st day (date) of the Utoy Creek, GA battle
C = # of letters in the 3rd word of the 2nd line
X = # of letters in the 6th word of the 4th line
Y = # of letters in the 2nd word of the last line
Z = how many times is the letter 'G' in the first line

Checksum N:21  W:17

When you get to the final, well 'nuff said. If it does not present itself, try about 15 feet to SE.
