Welcome to William T. Birch Park!
William T. Birch Park is a giant, 5.67-acre park in the nice and peaceful town of Fort Lee, NJ. Next to it is the Lewis F. Cole Intermediate and the Middle Schools where some kids come after school and play at this park (the park is not the school’s property). There are many tennis and pickleball courts at the edges of the park, near the parking lots. There is a handball court and a fun playground that is big enough to have lots of fun 😄! There are water fountains and bathrooms in the Fort Lee Recreation Center building (at the middle of the park) as well as a few vending machines to get snacks 🥪, drinks🧃, and ice cream🍦. There are also quality basketball courts next to the tennis courts which both overlook a narrow forest (where I hid this geocache!). If you want to have your lunch here, there are many picnic benches and of course, trash and recycle bins to tell the garbage to go away. So don’t litter! If you just want to sit down, there are good metal and sturdy benches comfortable enough to sit on! The Fort Lee garden, dog park, and baseball field are located right next to the park too. William T. Birch Park and the playground is 100% handicapped accessible. During the summer, many people go to the spray park, which I think is the best place of the park! With good designed sprayers which make you cool and wet in the hot sun ☀️. I forgot to add this but there is also outdoor water fountains included but I think they don't work 🫤. Many mourning dove come and socialize, so please say hi to them! Anyways, welcome to William T. Birch Park!

About The Geocache🌳:
You are looking for a camoed small size container, well labeled, hidden behind stones and scraps of logs that is hiding behind a massive log at a trunk of a tree beside the path. Enter the forest from 9th Street area where the baseball field is. The stump is on the second path if you're facing them. This geocache is over the tennis court fences and sometimes are people playing tennis, so be stealthy. This geocache can also fit small trackables where you can drop them off. SWAG and toys can fit. Pen and pencil are included. The first to find gets a load of coins and other stuff, also a cockatiel trackable. Please replace geocache exactly how you found it. The park opens at 8 A.M. and closes at 10 P.M. but the cache doesn't! Many tennis balls litter the forest if you're wondering about the name! Available in the winter. If you love this geocache, please give it a favorite ❤️!
