HOPEMAN ROCK
Hopeman is one of many popular holiday villages located around the Moray Firth.
Many "seaside" locations make and sell rock for all to enjoy, however Hopeman has much more:
DAISY ROCK
Daisy rock is located to the East of Harbour Bay. Believe it or not but there is a plaque explaining why it is named so. Apparently, it is named Daisy Rock because of the Milk Daisies that used to grow around it.
HIVE ROCK
This rock is next to Daisy Rock and forms a natural monument (GAP) that records the summer solstice. As the sun sets on the longest day of the year it settles into the notch between these two giants.
ROCK POOLING
When the tide is out the far side of the East beach is the place to be.
Please remember to bring something to write with. Thanks
