Cache Across Southern California 2025

Greetings film critics! Are you ready to explore Hollywood through the ages? Find 10 CASC 2025 geocaches in at least 6 SoCal counties, stamp your passport, and turn it in at the SoCal Spring Fling mega event on May 3rd, 2025 for some stars. There are roughly 40 CASC geocaches to find, spread across all 10 SoCal counties. Cache across Southern California and explore Hollywood one film at a time!

How do I use the CASC Passport?

Use the stamp in each CASC geocache and stamp any of the 15 small movie tickets on the front page of the passport. At the bottom of each ticket, write the GC code of the geocache that corresponds to the stamp provided. Then on the reverse side, circle or highlight the caches you found from the list. Doing these steps will increase efficiently and decrease wait times at the CASC table at Spring Fling.

CASC Prize Redemption

To qualify for prize redemption at SoCal Spring Fling 2025, there are two award packages being offered: Silver and Gold. For the SILVER award you must find at least 6 CASC geocaches in 3 counties. To qualify for the GOLD award you must find at least 15 CASC geocaches in all 10 counties. Silver award includes a CASC 2025 completion e-badge for your geocaching profile, CASC sticker, and a small mystery prize. Gold award includes a complementary special edition CASC 2025 geocoin + the silver award prizes. Only one prize package per qualifying account. Prize distribution will be on a first come first served basis.

Casablanca

Europe is at war and the Nazis have easily taken Poland and France and have their eyes on conquering the continentand beyond. Europeans are fleeing. They are coming to Casablanca as a stopover on their way to America. But once they get there, they need exit visas to travel onward.

Rick's Cafe is the hottest spot in Casablanca. It's owned by Rick Blaine who doesn't "stick his neck out for nobody." But his club is a place where people can make contacts to help them get out of the city and away from the Nazis. Enter Victor Laszlo, a Czechoslovakian underground leader, traveling with his wife, Ilsa. Victor is wanted by the Nazis. They will do anything to keep him from leaving Casablanca.

In the meantime, two German soldiers, each carrying a Letter(box) of Transit have been murdered and the letter(boxes) stolen. Rick has been entrusted by a regular patron to keep the letter(boxes) safe.

One evening the piano player, Sam, sings an old, familiar song which Rick has forbidden him to play. Rick turns to scold him and sees his former lover, Ilsa.

Will Rick give the Letter(Boxes) of Transit to save his ex-lover's husband from the Nazis? Coming to theaters November 26, 1942!

To get the coordinates, enter into Certitude the location where Rick hid the Letter(boxes) of Transit.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
