Annual Holiday Geofest

Saturday December 28, 2024

12:30pm - 3:30pm

 

Its time to celebrate another year of geocahcing at the GeocacheAlaska! annual Holiday Party.

 

Join us for a light lunch with sandwiches and snacks. 

 

  • Hot Cocoa Bar: We'll have hot cocoa for everyone to keep warm on what will probably be a chilly day (being December in Alaska and all!) We will have bottled water . Please feel free to bring a non alcoloic beverage if you prefer. 
  • Cookie Exchange: Make or buy your own cookies to swap with other cookie makers. We ask that cookies be individually packaged, we recommend poly bags or ziploc bags found at your local grocery store in the baking aisles.
  • Annual Geo-Gift Exchange. Bring a gift under $20 of value for the Geocaching-Themed Gift Swap! This is always a fun story that leaves you guessing when the game will stop so you can see what's in your hands!
    • As in the past, we will have pre-made gift bags for sale from the store or you can make your own! Popular items are unactivated TBs, caching containers, and other geocaching themed swag.
  • If you would like to bring a snack or dessert to share please feel free to do so. 
  • There will be games and activities to keep you busy. And of course the ever popular geo bingo.
