T-Day 2024 Down by the River: Multi-caloric Meal Multi-Cache

We took a walk along a path in the woods on Thanksgiving Day 2024 and placed a set of caches. The path was wet, muddy, and slippery, so be prepared for that. In the summer, it most likely will be very buggy. There may be seasonal times when the river overflows and covers parts of the path. Be safe out there!

Did you eat too much for dinner? Maybe you can walk off some of the calories looking for these and other caches in the area. This one is a (hopefully) quick two-stage multi.

The posted coordinates take you near a trailhead. There will most likely be ample room to park your geo-mobile near there too.

To find the cache, go to the posted coordinates. The trailhead is marked by a sign that has four words. Determine the coordinates for the final (N 44 A.BCD W 73 E.FGD) as follows:

• A: Find the 4th letter of the 2nd word. What letter follows it in the alphabet? Use that letter's position.
• B: Subtract 1 from the number of letters in the 1st word.
• C: Use the number of times the letter D appears on the sign.
• D: Use half the number of letters in the second word.
• E: Take the first letter of the first word. What letter follows it in the alphabet? Use that letter's postion.
• F: Use the number of letters in the 3rd word.
• G: One letter appears five times. Use that letter's position.
• H: Add 1 to the number for G.
