Geocache Description:

THE SLAGA TWELVE DAYS OF CACHEMAS ARE BACK!!!

Here’s how it works: For 12 consecutive days beginning December 13th (Day 1), a new cache will be published and every day afterwards until December 24th. If you are able to First to Find, FTF, one of these daily caches, an FTF Cachemas Ornament will be in the container for you to keep. Once again, L Frank has designed a unique ornament that can be converted to a cache container for a future hide; or, you may keep it, your choice. PLEASE, if you get an FTF on one of the 12 days, do not go for another one until Bonus Day, let someone else have the fun.

This year, there will be a Bonus Cache on December 28th. EVERYONE is eligible to FTF the bonus whether or not you have FTFed a Cachemas hide. This cache can only be found by using all the codes contained inside of the container of each daily cache. Keep these codes and use them to solve the location of the Bonus cache which will publish on December 28th. The method to solve the Bonus will be included in the final day Cache description, and I am promised, it is not a difficult solution. We are publishing the Bonus four days after Day 12 in order to give cachers extra time to acquire any codes they may need.

THE BONUS CACHE CONTAINS TWO LARGE PREMIUM GEOCOINS

AS WELL AS AN AWESOME ORNAMENT

This Geocache Description: This is a simple three stage Multi-Cache in Arnold Park off Jeffco Boulevard in the Northern part of Arnold where it is bordered by the Meramec River.

At the first stage, the posted coordinates, you will find a stereotypical favorite destination of a stereotypical male dog with a full bladder. Go there, do not lift your leg, and obtain the year of manufacture for the object.

Add up the four digits that make up that year of manufacture and refer to that number as X. The number can be difficult to read depending upon the light. The value of that last digit is greater than 2 and less than 5.

From Stage 1 solve the Final North Latitude by substituting the value of X in the following: N 38° 27.3X9′

At Stage 2 you will find a dedication marker acknowledging a non-profit organization responsible for keeping the nearby Meramec River and its banks cleaned up twice each year in the boundary with Arnold, Missouri, and other stretches. There are twelve digits on the dedication marker. Add them all up. That number will be Y.

From Stage 2 solve the following by substituting the value of Y in the following, taken from Stage 2 Longitude: W 90° 21.(602 - ((Y x 8) + 4))′ Remember your PEMDAS order of operations.

Final location: Easily accessible park land, though you should watch out for tanglefoot.

Note: I left a new Christmas season trackable in the container. I hope to drop a few active trackables before the release. Please move them along. Permission to place this Geocache has been provided by the Arnold Parks and Recreation Director. Arnold Park is open daily from Sunrise to 30 minutes after Sunset. weather and special events permitting. Occasional flooding may impede access. Please help keep Arnold Parks clean.
