Explore the defunct and abandon Ocean County College Aboretum. The entrance to the aboretum is a large pagoda on College Dr. This area was a really cool and nice place to explore 20 years ago but does not seem to have been maintained since then. Although not long in length, the trail to this cache follows sections of unmmaintained board walks, separated by woods trail's, these boards are broken and rotted, covered in pine needles. Please be careful and walk to the side. The trail entrance and trail is indecernable sometimes depending on time of year, and is for short periods a "bushwack". Be mindful of ticks, and thorns. To find the trail entrance, enter the aboretum and continue straight. Shortly, you will walk past a little open area on the right that used to be an amphitheater, nothing but scattered wood remains. Continue straight to where the proper woods start, and toward the right you will see a half circle of 4 wooden benches with one missing the top which is where the trail starts. You will see a "potted" tree, and when standing in the half circle of benches you should slightly see something resembling a trail directly east. Follow several sections of woods and boards to an "L" bench. The cache is hidden the bench area. Feel free to explore further, you may see remnants of an old fit trail, and several other points of interest.
