We didn't really "steal Christmas" but we did manage to pillage Santa's sleigh for the ninth year in a row. We know he is on to us......why else did the ammo can completely disappear in 2022? We thought we managed to fool him by hiding a mystery cache in 2023 but we still got "coal" so realizing that he sees everything and knows when we are bad and good (mostly bad) we decided to relocate the stash to a completely new area and hope he's looking the other way.
Once again we were able to pilfer enough presents to fill an ammo can with gifts for all the "good Geocachers, big and small". Some of the gifts are nice and some of them are kind of silly. We labled some of the gifts as "Child" but for the most part they are adult orientated. Please only take one gift and no peeking at the other presents.
After Christmas is over and all the presents are gone from the cache we will restock it with regular trade items.
As for attibutes - we chose "winter friendly" because we are hoping that there is enough bush coverage to keep the cache findable year round with a good hint and a bit of yellow rope. We were tempted to add the "washroom" nearby attibute since there is an entire row of outhouses across the road but we kind of think that the result would be that the rental company would add us to their naughty list.
