I have placed 3 geocaches related to the movie Coraline.
The beginning of Coraline is full of supernatural and superstitous elements such as, using a dowsing rod, stepping into a fairy ring, to a well with no bottom. The well is rendered supernatural when Coraline's friend Whybi warns that the well is a "door to other places" and "lets things come out of it that shouldn't". Whybi is unaware of the Beldam Witch but does dread the evil eye, as it were. So, when the imaginary becomes reality we are relieved when Coraline throws the Bledam Witches severed hand still holding the key into the well. This act representing, expelling what Coraline and the ghost children experienced, back into the past.
