The Pingree Cemetery, also known as Pingree and Berry Cemetery, is located on Berry Road in Denmark, Maine. It is a small, historic burial ground with roots tracing back to the 19th century. Several Civil War soldiers and early settlers from Denmark are interred there.
I grew up on Berry Road and I wanted to give it it's first cache, so I decided to place a pill bottle cache here at Pingree & Berry Cemetery. The drive next to the cemetery is private, so please find a place to park somewhere on the shoulder of the road. It shouldn't take long to find the cache, and Berry Road isn't often busy. Also, please refrain from caching here at night for it's proximity to the cemetery.
