Entry by Programme £2 available at the door (under16's free). This money will go towards the evenings overheads. Please bring cash.

Geocaching is a fun outdoor adventuring hobby for the whole family, using GPS coordinates to seek hidden containers, called "geocaches." On a biennial basis, geocachers from around the world create short films themed around their favorite hobby as part of the Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF). This year's GIFF theme is “TFTC—Thanks For The Community!”. Geocaching HQ selects a set of the best short films as finalists for the annual GIFF event. More than 60 filmmakers from 21 countries submitted a film to the 11th biennial (GIFF) .

Attending a GIFF event between November 6-16, 2025 is your chance to watch the entire reel of the finalist films from the 2025 Geocaching International Film Festival in a fun, informal atmosphere and everyone in attendance will be able to vote for their favorite movies and earn a souvenir for your profile. And you might even learn more about geocaching too!

We are happy to bring GIFF 2025 to the St Peter's Church, Chailey. Come out and join us for a fun event and watch a series of short movies that will make you laugh and have fun as you see what media-minded creative geocachers have produced for this year's GIFF!

• The film reel lasts for approximately one hour. We intend to have an interval halfway through where refreshments will be provided.
• After the screening we will ask you to vote for your favourite three films from the reel. The ballot papers will be in the programme.
• Three of the ballot papers will be selected at random for a small prize.

Community Celebration Events - 2025
