The 33rd instalment of the Lad(d)ies What Lunch series of events. It all started when fm1906, Maerad and dibby3 attended a lunch event back in November 2022 and signed all logs on caches they found that day as Ladies What Lunch. The extra D has been added to ensure they can be inclusive of all cachers. As dibby3 has now "retired" from caching, her 4 events per year are open to guest hosts, we are the fourth to take on this role!
We are heading to the Thorn Tree pub at 15 Queen Street, Ossett, WF5 8AS. We have an area to the right as you go in through the front door set aside for us, please log a Will Attend so we can make sure we have enough space.
There is no obligation to purchase food or drink to attend this event.
Those wishing to purchase a meal should let us know their selection by Tuesday 14th October but please be aware the pub is launching a new winter menu from 6th October. The pub has a special offer on Fridays - Fish Friday - Fish & Chips and a drink for £12.
The pub has a decent car park at the rear which is accessed from Priory Road - waypoint provided. It is also within easy walking distance of Ossett Bus Station.
Trackables: only ones which fit into a small box (with the lid on) are welcome. If you wish to bring anything larger you are responsible for passing it along or keeping it if no-one wants it.
