2025 Community Celebration Event-Poppethead Park
Time:10am-12
Where: Poppethead Park 37-39 Cessnock Street, Kitchener, NSW.
What to Bring: drinks, food (if you wish)
*The park has tables and seats and a toilet block.
*I will be bringing food but if you want to contribute you may.
*I have several activities planned for you to do.
*There are several caches already hidden in the area.
*There is a bushland walking trail (damaged at one end) around a dam.
*It was converted from a mining site into a recreational area in the late 1980s.
*There are history boards if you wish to read about the area.
*The poppethead is an awesome structure to observe in the park.
* There are several observation decks to view birds and read about the environment.
