This event is the FINISH LINE for our second Run Across Iowa. We are calling this one The Jefferson as it loosely follows The Jefferson HIghway , north to south across Iowa.
9 days and 238 miles north of here, we started in Northwood, Iowa. Along the way, we overnighted in Mason City, Hampton, Iowa Falls, Ames, HOME (Des Moines), Indianola, and Osceola.
The parking lot of the Southern Iowa Gateway Welcome Center will serve as a pit stop for all to meet. You'll get to meet the crew as we take one final break before we make the final four mile push to the Missouri Border. You are INVITED NOT REQUIRED to join us for those final four miles. Along the way, you will get to hear us tell the best stories about the adventure. Bicycles are allowed over the last four miles.
