Latin American Plaza was opened on 25th May 2009 and is dedicated to the celebration of multiculturalism.
It includes many interesting works of art, especially the statue of Chalchiuhtlicue (Chal-CHEE-oo-TLEE-quay) the goddess of water. Given her divine status, Chalchiuhtlicue can take hold of shapeless and elusive water and form it into a river that flows and wraps her body.
