Een tastbare herinnering aan de tijd van Napoleon. Dit verdedigingswerk werd in de vroege 19e eeuw gebouwd om de haven van Veere te beschermen tegen vijandelijke schepen. Tegenwoordig is het een prachtig stukje historie waar natuur en cultuur samenkomen.
