A few years ago, a mural depicting the 3 Fates from Greek Mythology was painted on the bridge going over Ormewood Ave. and under the Beltline.
The Fates were often depicted as beautiful maidens, but they were also known for being severe and stubborn. They were said to be the daughters of Zeus and Themis, or of Nyx (the Night). The Fates were associated with the march of time, and were thought to have power over the fate of the gods, including Zeus. There are also other Greek Mythology figures painted on the side of the bridge.
