The Quarry Lake at Greenspring is a mixed use development built in 2005. It is centered around Quarry Lake, which was once the site of a major mining operation and is now the deepest body of water in Maryland.
This is a popular destination for walkers and joggers, as the Quarry Lake development includes a half mile long walking route with views of the lake.
On the opposite side of Quarry Lake from this cache is Blue Stone Park - a small public park with gardens and a wooden gazebo.
