Geocache Description:

WHERE: Puskarich Public Library, 200 East Market St, Cadiz, Oh 43907

WHEN: Friday Dec. 20th, 2:00pm - 3:00pm

The Puskarich Public Library staff has invited us to help spread the word about geocaching in a county that has very few geocaches and active geocachers also. We will be helping newbies learn about our fun hobby/activity/sport/adventure (whatever you want to call it, it's just plain fun)!

Join us as we delve into the exciting world of geocaching!

Geocaching is a modern day treasure hunt where participants use GPS coordinates to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, all around the world. But it's not just about finding hidden treasures; it's also about exploring new places, solving puzzles and connecting with nature and fellow adventurers.

Our experienced geocachers will talk about the basics of geocaching and share tips, tricks, and stories from their adventures to help you get started on your own journey. We will discuss the basics: cache types and sizes, ratings, locations, dos and don'ts, and much more. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to go outside and find some sample (non-published) geocaches nearby that we will hide in advance so newbies can get some real world practice, either alone or in teams.

Please log a Will Attend, and we’ll see you there!
