Everybody has a different way of waking up in the morning. Here's a way to start out your morning, by gathering with a like minded bunch of people to swap stories about geocaching over a cup of Joe.
Yes, you read that right - 100 coffee events. Since this one is the 100th, why not put this one where the first one was almost 10 years ago. The only difference being is that the coffee shop we'll be in now is different from when the first one happened back in April 2015. And if you're "Mathing," you're thinking, shouldn't this one be close to 120? Well, yes, in a perfect world, but we had COVID intervene for awhile and I've missed a couple, but pretty much you can lay money down that there's going to be a coffee event somewhere in the neighborhood on the first Saturday of the month.
It's the first Saturday of the month, it's a brand new year, the college bowl season is winding down and the NFL playoffs are just beginning. Come enjoy a cup of coffee with us before you start out on your caching journey for the day.
Come on down and grab a cup of coffee and spend some time shooting the breeze with other local geocachers. You'll be able to trade travel bugs and just hang out for awhile while you recharge your batteries with your favorite type of morning beverage.
This event will be held at the Lucky's Coffee Roasters at 665 E Foothill Blvd Suite B in Claremont. The event will start at 8:00 AM and end somewhere around 9:30 in the morning. That way, you'll still have plenty of time to do whatever you wanted to do for the rest of the day. There should be plenty of parking for this event and there's a nice outdoor patio where we will be meeting, so if you want to bring your pooches to the event, you can. Please keep in mind that if it's cold or rainy, then we will be inside.
