Part 2 of the Rail Trail caches. Take a walk or bike ride on the North Shore Rail Trail to find this cache. A long time ago some type of rail tracks ran through the area. The Rail Trail walkway/bikeway runs from Brookhaven township all the way out to Riverhead Township. THE TRAIL IS OPEN FROM DAWN TO DUSK. Park on one of the nearby streets that cross the trail. Be kind to neighbors. Stay to the trail. Don't try to cut across anyones property to shorten the walk as it's pretty short already. Should be an easy find for everyone.
Passers-by should be few and far between so wait for them to clear before retrieving/replacing this cache. Hide it better than you found it.
This is a full sized cache and full of swag. If to take something leave something. Be sure to hide it well. If you don't, it'll be easilly seen by passers by. Bring a set of gloves and wear them as there are thorny bushes around the area. Inside there is a full sized log book and pencil inside a zip lock bag. Be sure to put both back in the zip lock before securing the top of the cache. Make sure the cache is standing upright as it'll help keep water out of the cache.
