A Peaceful Moment In Time #2 (In Five Parts)
Greetings,
Whilst I am NOT located at the prescribed coordinates, yet am lying in wait somewhat nearby in one of these quaint yet incongruously-designed reserves, it is indeed the most suitable location to begin your little journey, a place to repose and take in the airs, all the while remarking upon the various serene vistas before you and pondering any or all of the following:
- "My word, the grass sure is a shemozzle, when do they plan to mow next?"
- "Those automobiles sure do beetle on by!"
- "That caerulean floral arrangement would most certainly mingle well with my mostly-verdant menagerie."
...though, of course and most importantly, you are here to find me, the geocache.
To thusly locate me, you shall be required to thoroughly peruse the left bench at the posted location for a set of coordinates sequestered there and then subsequently follow suit for the second and third locations.
Upon arriving at the fourth location, please be so good as to refer to the following prose so to deduce my whereabouts at the fifth and final location:
From your seated-to-standing position, I am to be found no further than fifty-one paces away, yet greater than one pace. To your left and right and also straight ahead, there are a number of places I could be residing in and amongst. You need not pass any fences or barriers and certainly do not access any roads.
You would find versions of me in a garden, as a conduit for dispensing the essence of life, to your left...you could find heavier-duty and more industrial versions of me around civil work systems, funnelling and channelling essential energies, straight ahead...and you might mistake me for something else entirely nestled and somewhat cloistered amongst the rocks, to your right, enjoying those glorious solar rays of the day.
Please ensure to return me as found once signing duties are complete and enjoy the brief reprieve from the general hustle and bustle.
This cache is the long-planned next addition to what was meant to be a series of caches highlighting seats and benches in frenetic/incongruous/conspicuous locations, with the first A Peaceful Moment In Time (GC7MXQF) being placed in April 2018 and currently still active. With #2 now in place, the intention is to continue this series and further its development across Sydney.
Best to park on either Pimelea or Senna Avenue. Please do not park on or access the cache from Denham Court Road. Container contains a log only, please BYO pen.
Cache on!
Much Obliged,
- Alephroom.

This geocache was part of GC Project: It's Raining Caches 2025.
The project's aim was to create a rain of new geocaches to fall from the sky across the state of NSW at 9am on 19th January 2025 - 1 week before Sydney Geoquest, the first Block Party in the Southern Hemisphere.
Many legendary hiders came together to generously contribute their finest geocaches to build excitement and connection amongst the community and for all finders to enjoy years after the event.
This geocache helped make it rain.
