Thelma and Louise typically host a Chattanooga Area Geocachers New Year's Day/Football celebration. As rabid, I mean avid, Tennessee Football fans we have to make sure that the event does not interfere with Tennessee's bowl game selection. We have watched more football this past month just trying to figure out where and when we would be playing in the post-season playoffs. Now it seems to be Ohio State on December 21 (I've already contacted Grizz-rider in Michigan to see what we need to do to beat THE Ohio State Buckeyes). When we win, it'll be the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day at 5 pm (so this event will have to be over by then!!!!)
Come join us for Hot Chocolate or Coffee and light refreshments as we review the geocaching highlights of 2024 and discuss goals for 2025, including CAG plans for Community Celebration Events. Event is indoors so come rain or shine, fog or snow as long as the mountain roads are open.
Completely optional opportunity to give back to the community. Our Local Foodbank gets very depleted during the holidays, as money goes to gifts and essential foods. One request that we often see is for toiletries-soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper and deoderant. We will have a collection box for any that wish to give.
