20th January - We came a cropper at Horsbere!

The session is set for 3 hours, but only me and the ranger have to stay till the end!
Please do feel free to pop along and only stay for as long as you want.
Parking: Parking is available at the main entrance to Horsbere Reserve (see waypoint Parking area / Meet-up point).
Where: Meet up 09:30 by the main gates to Horsbere Reserve where we will collect tools and make our way to the work site. There are a number of tasks that we will be doing either tree care in the hedge, Cliffs Wood or the Community Wood. I will add waypoints for each location and put out an announcement on the day once a final decision has been made, so you know where to head if attending a little later!
What: We will be doing tree care, either in a hedge or one of the woods. Cutting back any weeds and so that the tree is clear, making sure that it's guard and stake is still nice and secure
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools. Please bring work gloves if possible and if you wish to use your own tools (loppers, shears and a hammer) then do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have tools as the Ranger will have a supply.
Please also think about bringing a drink/snack for breaktime.
