Geocache Description:

The circle spins, the earth turns slow,
Around us, the winds of ages blow.
In the quiet, we hear the land,
A deep song sung by nature's hand.

The trees whisper stories of the past,
Their roots stretched deep, their branches vast.
And in the circle, we find our place,
No higher, no lower, just equal grace.

We are the two-legged, the walking kin,
The four-legged with paws that spin,
The no-legged, silent beneath the ground,
All together, one circle, all life unbound.

The water flows in endless streams,
Reflecting stars, the land’s old dreams.
The winged ones soar on winds so free,
The crawling ones, their own mystery.

In Dadirri, we listen deep,
To the spring inside, the stillness we keep.
In quietness, the circle speaks,
Of unity, where all life seeks.

The sun rises, the moon dips low,
The seasons change, the winds still blow.
We are part of the circle, not above,
Connected in rhythm, bound by love.

The land, the sky, the trees, the sea,
They live within us, and we in them, you see.
No dominion, no need to claim,
For in the circle, we’re all the same.

So, seek the cache, the treasure near,
But remember, the greatest gift is clear:
The circle holds us, each one, each thing,
A song of life, eternal as spring.

In this shape, we find our way,
Connected to the earth, every day.
For the circle spins, and we must know,
That through it all, we all must grow.

A circle to unite, to break the norm.
A city commissioner, with hopes so high,
Dreamed of a road where the rivers lie.
A circle that would connect the land,
Stretching through Saskatoon, a plan so grand.

But the years rolled on, and time took its toll,
The circle remained broken, an unfinished goal.
The city grew, expanding wide,
And the dream of the circle would not subside.

But still, the journey had far to go,
The final piece remained hidden below.
The southwest section, a final delay,
Held the city back for another day.
Through rain and water, it stood apart,
A broken circle with an aching heart.

Then, on July 31, 2013, the day came true,
The circle was finished, its journey through.
The south west section, a towering grace,
Finally connected the last missing space.
Circle Drive was complete, an unbroken ring,
A connection to Saskatoon, a full circle to bring.

Now, we drive the roads of our city wide,
Encircling Saskatoon with a circle of pride.
From the east to the west, from the north to the south,
The circle unites every voice, every mouth.

A century in the making, but now it’s done,
Circle Drive, the journey won.
A shape of life, a symbol to see,
An unbroken circle, forever to be.

In every twist, every turn, every lane,
The road tells a story of patience, of gain.
It whispers the history, the struggle, the fight,
Of a circle that finally took flight.
