Geocache Description:

Join us as TXGA and the GPS Adventures Maze Team brings the GPS Maze back to Texas to celebrate 25 Years of Geocaching! This Maze was first debuted at GeoWoodstock XX.

The Texas Geocaching Association (TXGA), in partnership with the GPS Adventures Maze Team and 23rd Texas Challenge and BlockParty (GCAMM1H), is pleased to present the GPS Adventures Maze Exhibit. The Exhibit is an educational and interactive experience to share content and Geocaching information. It provides something interesting for all, from first-time cachers to Charter members.

This event runs over 2 days and will be available Friday and Saturday at the same site as Challenge/BlockParty so there will be plenty of time to tour the exhibit.

Here is some history of the GPS Maze:

- Over 100 enthusiasts attended the very first GPS Maze Event in Minnetrista

in 2007 (GC13A70)

- The original maze toured throughout the United States, but was retired in 2014.

- The Czech Association of Geocachers created a new Maze, which travels to events within Europe.

- The Texas Geocaching Association was responsible for bringing the Maze back to the US as part of GeoWoodstock.

GPS Maze will be open

  • Friday, March 14, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Saturday, March 15 from 9:00 am  to 3:00 pm

The GPS Maze is free both days.
