
What: Join us as we continue mending fencing that protects the 'new' hedgeline from grazing cattle. The cattle have moo-ved but will return Autumn 2025 to graze the area. We will also be caring for our new hedgerow trees - weeding, checking guards and removing guards from more mature trees.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance, there will also be plenty of friendly volunteers on hand to offer help and advice. Please bring your own gloves if possible, all tool provided.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.They will introduce the session and do the health and safety brief prior to work commencing. We are working near to a barbed wire fence, so please wear old clothing and suitable footwear.
Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords there are additional spaces over the footbridge but please check the signage in the car park and park in the appropriate area.
Where: Meet us by the main gate at 9:30 or find us along the hedge around the mound (published co-ordinates).
