Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden along the south edge of the east-west paved sidewalk parallel to Spruceview Avenue, which connects on its east end with Bartlett Street. Just about 25 feet south of the cache hide is the Pratt Museum’s Spruceview Trailhead, connecting you to the web of trails which wander through the wilderness surrounding the Pratt Museum right here in the middle of Homer’s west end. The trailhead has an excellent map sign panel showing the trail network (and your location on the trail network), as well as a dog baggie station to equip you for cleaning up behind your canine geocaching buddy. If you’re doing a park’n’grab, parallel park while driving EAST along Spruceview Avenue. Please don’t block nearby driveways.

This cache is placed by a Sourdough Member of GeocacheAlaska! Inc., a local nonprofit organization dedicated to advocacy and education efforts supporting the get-outside game of geocaching across Alaska. Visit our website to learn more!
