Geocache Description:

A Bush Letterbox

This is a Letterbox Hybrid Geocache. Letterbox Hybrids are based on an older kind of container search, called letterboxing.
Letterboxing began in 1854, before GPS existed. Each letterbox contains a logbook, and a rubber stamp. Finders stamp the logbook with their personal stamp, and also stamp their own notebook with the stamp from the letterbox as a souvenir of their visit. The stamp and logbook remain in the letterbox for the next finder to use. The rubber stamp is not a trade item and stays in the cache.
Finders of a Letterbox Hybrid Geocache can simply sign the logbook as they would when finding the underlying cache type. Use of the stamps is optional.

This cache is not at the posted coordinates, but you can buy stamps there and send a card to that special person, anywhere in the world, just like Heidi and George did.

This geocache was part of GC Project: It's Raining Caches 2025.
The project's aim was to create a rain of new geocaches to fall from the sky across the state of NSW at 9am on 19th January 2025 - 1 week before Sydney Geoquest, the first Block Party in the Southern Hemisphere.
Many legendary hiders came together to generously contribute their finest geocaches to build excitement and connection amongst the community and for all finders to enjoy years after the event.
This geocache helped make it rain.
