Geocache Description:

Welcome to Geo_Geniuses' geocache! Since we began geocaching a short time ago and started exploring Australia to find caches, we've wanted to hide our own. We think we’ve found the perfect spot, and we hope you can find it too!

Important Information:

Please be aware of snakes, as many have been sighted before in this park, and often these are tiger snakes, which are the 3rd most venomous snake species in Australia.

This cache is located on a bridge above a creek that is often dry, however, when it rains, this creek fills up. So please check the forecast (or bring your wellies!).

This cache is a spray-painted 180mL Clip-and-lock Sistema container that contains a logbook, a pencil, and an information sheet. Please let us know if any of these items are missing. This cache is recommended for kids and beginners.

We chose to theme our first cache around "The Three Billy Goats Gruff" by Peter Christen Asbjørnsen and Jørgen Moe. Welcome to Parkwood Terrace Park! This cache is in a newly renovated park in a developing area. The park features a large playground for children and a spacious open area for dogs. It is within walking distance of the highly regarded Alamanda K-9 College. We are choosing to release one of our first trackables, Vincent Van Goat, with this cache. We hope he travels well and explores lots of places! If you would like to track his journeys, search him up here: TBAQ8N8. The tale of "The Three Billy Goats Gruff" originates from Norwegian oral folklore. The most well-known version features three male goats, often referred to as brothers, though some interpretations describe them as a child, a father, and a grandfather. The story revolves around their attempt to cross a bridge guarded by a fierce troll to reach their feeding ground. As the goats cross the bridge, they make the sound "trip-trap," which wakes the troll.
