Gladys Mills Phipps was the daughter of Ruth Livingston Mills and Ogden Mills (see MN 6). She inherited the mansion from her brother Ogden Livingston Mills, and eventually donated it to NY State.
Gladys was an American socialite and a thoroughbred racehorse owner and breeder, and known as the “first lady of the turf”. It is reported that she was an excellent golfer, so she apparently was not responsible for the placement of this cache.
You are looking for a blue bison with some appropriate-for-Gladys camo.
