Geocache Description:

This multicache begins near the Burgettstown railroad station which was first built in 1883.  From here, passengers could board the line to Pittsburgh.  In recent years, the station fell into such a state of disrepair that it needed to be rebuilt.  The modern structure attempts to stay true to the original design that it replaces.

Upon arrival, you will need a bluetooth-enabled device such as a phone or tablet to receive coordinates for a nearby stage two.  Use your device to search for the bluetooth signal GCB17Z0_xxx_yyy.

(Currently, cachers using Apple devices seem to be having issues "seeing" the bluetooth signal due to software limitations.  For iPhone users, I recommend installing an app called LightBlue to search for the signal.  Android devices seem to be able to recognize the signal natively.)

On most devices, you will need to open your bluetooth settings and attempt to pair a new device to find the signal.  On some devices, you may need to go to “Pair new device.” On others, look under "Available devices," "Other devices," or similar.  Please allow adequate time (30 seconds to 1 minute) for your device to acquire the bluetooth signal.  You DO NOT need to connect to or pair with the bluetooth signal but only to read the signal name.

After finding the bluetooth signal name in the form of GCB17Z0_xxx_yyy, insert both of the banks of three numbers represented by xxx and yyy from the Bluetooth signal name into the following coordinates to find the final stage. N 40° 23.xxx' W 80° 23.yyy'.

This is a somewhat high-traffic area so you may need to time your grab carefully. Also, caching should be limited to daylight hours.

Cheers!
