Geocache Description:

Longford is one of a group of ancient villages in this area. Heathrow was one of the villages but it was demolished in 1948 to make way for the airport. This cache is located in what was the village green but a century ago somebody built two houses on half of it. The nearby pub is well worth a visit. It is four hundred years old and it is a rare example of a 'Free House' pub in England - meaning it does not belong to a plc chain. It is family owned and run. Inside you can see how modern diet and nutrition have led to people being much taller. A tall man cannot stand upright inside.

This cache is big enough to contain a trackable.
