Oppland + Hedmark = Innlandet

[NO]Her var det grense mellom Oppland og Hedmark, før begge disse fylke ble forent 1.1.2020. Riktignok viste resultatet av en folkeavstemning i februar 2022 et lite flertall for at fylkene skal splittes igjen, men politikerne valgte å se bort fra folkeavstemningen. 
Innlandet fylke eksisterer altså fortsatt, og cachen viser til en liten relikt fra tidligere tider.

Tross alt finnes det fortsatt en grense her, mellom kommunene Lillehammer og Ringsaker. Men hvorfor står Lillehammer ikke på skiltet? Skiltet er såpass gammelt at det viser Fåberg herred. Fåberg var egen kommune inntil 1964, da herredskommunen Fåberg ble slått sammen med bykommunen bestående av Lillehammer sentrum og Vignes.

Fåberg was a separate municipality until 1964 when the district municipality of Fåberg was merged with the city municipality consisting of Lillehammer city center and Vignes.
