This is a regular cache placed in a rock ledge near the start of the 1km track leading down to the Fortescue Falls in the Karijini National Park.
22/7/2012 - Thanks to "Temingi" the cache has been replaced with a log sheet in a Zip-top bag, as the original has disappeared. Due to the remoteness of this location I would greatly appreciate future Geocachers replace the bag with a regular container, as I won't be up there for a while?
The cache is 670m above sea level (you can’t get much higher in WA) at the top of one side of Dales Gorge. Before starting your descent to the falls , if you were to find an outcrop with a view of the falls, you would be standing over the cache, as it is behind some rocks at the lower level.
A 50km drive West from here to the “Junction pool lookouts” can’t be missed.
