with Loch Cache, friends and family.
In 2012 I created a geoevent to coinside with our annual New Year's Day party. At the time my wife and I had hosted a gathering on New Year's Day for a dozen plus years prior. We had young kids in the 1990's on into the early 2000's so we did not go out on New Yesr's Eve. This brunch was a way to see our friends without having to pay for babysitters and risk the idiots on the roads on New Year's Eve.
For a couple years we had invited new friends we had made through geocaching but in 2012 I decided to open up the celebration to all geocachers. Hence, the birth of New Year's Day Brunch w/ Loch Cache. I have enjoyed every year and evry event in the past 13 years. There has been lots of food, lots of drinks, lots of travel bugs and lots of HINTS given. (Do you remember Blank Stare? That was a fun one.)
However, as they say, "all good things must come to an end". THERFORE, it is with some sadness that I announce this will be te last New Year's Day Brunch w/ Loch Cache and family.
This is an annual event at the Loch Cache household. This is the thirteenth year it has been a geocaching event. Please mark will attend so we can gauge how many people we will have in our home that day. Keep in mind there will also be non-geocachers attending as well but we'll still have some geo-fun!
This NYD party is always something I look forward to every year. A chance to see all my old friends (and young ones) as well as meet new geocachers. I hope to see lots of people on New Years Day!

All are welcome to attend. Bring friends, fellow cachers and even strangers if you'd like. There will be special activities planned to celebrate the new caching year and other surprises.
