Welcome to Weespersluis, a recently built residential area with lots of water and green areas. As part of its construction, a new lake was created ('de Gouw'), which is connected to the main rivier Vecht through a lock. The area around the cache is built in the architectural style 'Fin de Siécle', mimicing the style of the end of the 19th century. The streets are green with avenues and canals.
The Cache:
You'll find it next to the central Weespersluispark (which is currently under construction). The cache is fairly easily accessible.
Worth exploring:
At a short walk away (250m) you'll find the Muiderslotpark, a long park between 2 roads with an abundance of playgrounds and benches. On the way there some small shops and a grand cafe are located near a small harbor providing you with a view of the Gouw.

Welkom in Weespersluis, een recent gebouwde woonwijk met veel water en groene gebieden. Als onderdeel van de bouw is er een nieuw meer gecreëerd ('de Gouw'), dat via een sluis verbonden is met de rivier de Vecht. Het gebied rond de cache is gebouwd in de architectonische stijl 'Fin de Siècle', die de stijl van het einde van de 19e eeuw nabootst. De straten zijn groen met lanen en grachten.
De Cache:
Je vindt de cache naast het centrale Weespersluispark (dat momenteel in aanbouw is). De cache is relatief gemakkelijk toegankelijk.
Verder de moeite waard om te verkennen:
Op korte loopafstand (250m) vind je het Muiderslotpark, een lang park tussen 2 wegen met een overvloed aan speelplaatsen en bankjes. Op weg daarheen liggen enkele kleine winkels en een grand café nabij een kleine haven, die je een uitzicht op de Gouw biedt.
