Geocache Description:

Half-way between the city of Palm Springs and the Palm Springs Tramway mountain station, along the skyline trail, is this cache.

Start at the very west end of Ramon road in Palm Springs. This is the trailhead.

Hike 6 strenuous miles to the cache site. Continue to the top, and catch a free tram ride down.

Since the hike is exactly halfway between the bottom and the top, it doesn't really matter if you start from the bottom or the top. Except that the tram is 20 bucks up, but free going down, and the trail is hard to find from the top.

Be prepared for snow at the top, and cold temperatures. Drink a lot of water. I bring a gallon. Start early. Good luck.

Cache is a round honey-container.
