This is the 30th cache in a series of simple hides placed in the parks of Ambarvale, Glen Alpine and surrounds, and if possible, giving a brief explanation of why the park has this name.
Fisher's Ghost Park is now a much shortened version of what is was initially due to the developement in the area in the 70-80's. It was of course named after the legend of Fred Fisher's Ghost that was "seen" on the banks of this creek by two young boys on 25th October 1826 which led to the discovery of his murdered remains. An event celebrated by the communty annually.

This geocache was part of GC Project: It's Raining Caches 2025.
The projects aim was to create a rain of new geocaches to fall from the sky across the state of NSW at 9am on 19th January 2025 - 1 week before Sydney Geoquest, the first Block Party in the Southern Hemisphere.
Many legendary hiders came together to generously contribute their finest geocaches to build excitement and connection amongst the community and for all hiders to enjoy years after the event.
This geocache helped make it rain.
