This cache is part of the larger IssaQuest Sustainability GeoTour. Welcome to the East Sunset Way Trailhead near downtown Issaquah! Access to the Issaquah Alps is why Sasquatch spends so much time in Issaquah. This trailhead, connected right to our downtown area, allows community members and visitors to quickly escape into the woods and enjoy nature. When out on the trails, remember to practice the Leave No Trace rules just like Sasquatch, including leaving what you find, respecting wildlife, and being considerate of others. The area around this trailhead was heavily damaged by the November 2024 windstorm that knocked power out through the Eastside cities for nearly a week. Fortunately, restoration crews and volunteers have stepped up to maintain this space and further reinforce critical Leave No Trace practices. Explorers should NOT venture off trail to look for the cache.
