Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the larger IssaQuest Sustainability GeoTour. On a spring day, Sasquatch will gather their friends and play frisbee at Confluence Park or set up a hammock to listen to the birds sing. The initial purchase of the park by the City was in 1993, and the City later acquired more land. These conjoining parcels were renamed Confluence Park, and the City began development of the Park in the 2010s. The creek flowing through the park is protected land and a favorite spot for salmon viewing. There is also a community garden where people can come together to grow their own produce. Protecting natural areas like Confluence Park is a priority for the City. The Park was hit hard by the windstorm of 2024 and it will take some time for the trees and vegetation to recover.

Please leave the cache in a spot that is accessible for the next player to retrieve.
